Over 3,500 square feet housing more than 200,000 used books, 100,000 comics, CDs, DVDS and LPs– all gently used, bargain-priced and wonderfully well-organised!

Walk into our spacious store and browse through our expansive and ever-changing inventory of used books in every genre. Owner, Susan Raulin, aims to offer something for everybody– Fiction, Non-Fiction and of course, Comic Books, including high-end comics and collector issues.

In business for over 40 years, Ted’s occupies a former spa and fitness centre. Part of the charm of shopping in an old spa is finding the nooks and crannies housing special collections of used books. Head through the door with the blue beads into what was formerly the old sauna room and you’ll find the Metaphysical/Spiritual section… so New Age!

Turn a few corners and head to a large sci-fi fantasy section, historical fiction, westerns, romance, mysteries, kid’s books and thrillers.

Book Club fans rejoice! Our contemporary literature selection features everything from literary works to historical fiction, thrillers, and chick-lit favourites all organized alphabetically.

Centrally located near the Capri Mall, our large space has allowed us to maintain a huge and varying stock of treasures for every reader. Along with our legion of loyal book worms and collectors, Susan and her staff welcome new customers daily. More people, more books!
